The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust is fortunate in having excellent, busy and well-integrated postgraduate medical and dental education facilities. The facility is housed in a complex leading off from the main hospital corridor, adjacent to the medical library and School of Health.

The centre acts as a focus for postgraduate medical and dental education in the area, with general practice, dental and hospital programmes being arranged from here.

The centre frequently hosts both national and regional courses along with a busy dental programme. In addition, there are medical exhibitions, courses, workshops and other meetings.
