Training
The Library offers a range of hands-on, small-group training sessions on using online healthcare databases and other Internet based resources. These courses are free and usually take place in the IT skills training room in the postgraduate centre.
Who are the courses for?
The sessions are open to anyone working in the NHS and will be helpful if you are involved in research, service development or further studies. They will also provide evidence towards your PDR.
Other training options
Our timetabled sessions are generally interdisciplinary but if you would like to organise a session to suit staff from a single discipline, eg physiotherapists, or focusing on a specific subject, eg diabetes, please get in touch. We can also, by appointment, offer support on a one-to-one basis and are happy to visit departments to give brief presentations on online resources.
