How is the hospital peforming financially?

The Ipswich Hospital is audited by external experts each year to ensure the hospital has arrangements in place to secure economy, efficiency and effectiveness in its use of resources.

The audit is conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers, a professional services firm. PricewaterhouseCoopers were appointed as the hospital’s independent auditors by the Audit Commission, the body responsible for appointing auditors to all local public bodies in England.
